We focus on players under the age of 23 for both the Shortlist and the Watchlist. We have a global approach to player discovery, but dedicate most time to exploring emerging markets in Scandinavia, the Balkans, Japan, Africa and Australia, as well as leagues outside of Brazil and Argentina in South America. We also believe there's talent and value in the second and third tiers of Europe's elite leagues.

We will send a new PDF every month. These will include at least five players on the Shortlist and at least 20 on the Watchlist.

SCOUTED Pro is designed to be complimentary to direct data providers, not replace them. We offer bespoke data insight and interpretation, and our work is designed to be directly applicable to the game and live projects. Pro helps teams understand how to get more from their data providers, and how to communicate that knowledge effectively.

Both annual and monthly subscribers will retain online access until the end of their paid subscription term, and can keep any reports downloaded during this period. Reports published after a subscription ends will not be available.

Archetypes are developed based on real-world player profiles and then translated into Performance Indices using SkillCorner data. Multiple curated metrics that serve as the best signals for specific attributes and playing style instincts are combined into a single score and scaled from 0-100. To calculate this, Z-score normalisation is applied to each metric with each weighted based on importance. The weighted z-scores are summed to get a raw performance index which is then scaled so that 50 represents the average performer.

Jake Entwistle and Llew Davies are the team behind SCOUTED's editorial pedigree, and lead the analysis powering SCOUTED Pro. Jake leads the data reporting and Llew vets each player with the eye test.
